Basketball Recap: Hulett Comes Up Short

Hulett suffered their biggest defeat since January 26, 2024 on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Upton Bobcats and fell 67-37. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Devils' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Hulett's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Upton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hulett will welcome Arvada-Clearmont at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Upton, they will be playing at home against Newcastle at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Upton's favor as the squad sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Newcastle has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
