Softball Recap: Caprock Longhorns vs. Palo Duro Dons
Caprock scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 32-1 margin over the Palo Duro Dons. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Annalyse Gonzalez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Gonzalez has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Gonzalez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
