Recap: North Clayton Eagles vs. Drew
The North Clayton Eagles won the last time they faced Drew, and things went their way on Saturday too. North Clayton enjoyed a cozy 33-15 victory over Drew.
It was another big night for Kailee Wooten, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brea Mosley, who scored two points along with 16 rebounds and seven steals.
North Clayton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-5. As for Drew, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Clayton will play host again and welcome Fayette County, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fayette County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 369 points over their last six contests. As for Drew, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northgate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Northgate focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
