Soccer Game Preview: Clewiston vs. Pahokee

The Clewiston Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Pahokee Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, it was close, but Clewiston sidestepped Immokalee for a 2-1 win. Even though the Tigers got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jaylin Velasquez was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Kamyrin Herring and Bailey Berner scored both of Clewiston's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Pahokee has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They and Glades Central finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Devils as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Clewiston's win bumped their record up to 5-3-3. Pahokee's draw makes their record 0-9-2 this season.

Everything went Clewiston's way against Pahokee in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Clewiston made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clewiston since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
