Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

If Hillcrest was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Greenwood last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hillcrest Rams fell just short of the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Rams' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hillcrest fell to 6-1. As for T.L. Hanna, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will head out to square off against J.L. Mann at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. J.L. Mann's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Hillcrest's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for T.L. Hanna, they will venture away from home to challenge Woodmont at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. T.L. Hanna will be up against Woodmont's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.33 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
