Volleyball Game Preview: Steamboat Springs Sailors vs. Delta Panthers + Official Tickets

The Steamboat Springs Sailors will venture away from home to challenge the Delta Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Steamboat Springs didn't have quite enough to beat Battle Mountain and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Sailors in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost six in a row.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Steamboat Springs sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 19-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Delta got the win against Rifle on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Delta's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Steamboat Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Steamboat Springs took their victory against Delta in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sailors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
