Baseball Recap: Bedford Triumphs

Bedford's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Lincoln Railsplitters get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The Kicking Mules haven't had any issues with the Railsplitters recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Cade McNamara made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three matches. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Bedford's win bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 13-26.

Bedford will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Railsplitters: the pair will be back at it again later today.
