Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bismarck). They put the hurt on the Arcadia Valley Tigers with a sharp 23-13 victory on Monday. Considering the Indians have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Ayla Hawkins, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Alyssa Brake was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Bismarck was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive contests.

Bismarck now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Arcadia Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Bismarck didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-2 defeat against Bourbon on the 15th. As for Arcadia Valley, they will challenge Meadow Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
