Riverview won the last time they faced Grosse Ile and things went their way on Friday too. The Riverview Pirates simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Grosse Ile Red Devils 55-25. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Riverview was led to victory by Kate Patterson and Averi Westbay. Patterson went 5 of 12 on her way to 14 points and five steals, while Westbay went 5 for 7 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds. Westbay has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played. Sienna Logan also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Riverview's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Grosse Ile, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Riverview will take on Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Grosse Ile has already played their next game (against Jefferson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
