DeForest had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Watertown Goslings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 last Tuesday.

Haylin Arnold paced DeForest's offense, picking up ten kills. Arnold got some help from Morgan Bentel and her 22 assists. Bentel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

DeForest's win bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Watertown, they moved to 24-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

DeForest has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Milton on the 11th. As for Watertown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Waunakee on the 11th.
