Soccer Recap: Fox Tech Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Fox Tech was not quite Sam Houston's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 2-1. Fox Tech were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Sam Houston earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Fox Tech and nudges their season record down to 5-15-3. As for Sam Houston, they moved to 3-15 with that victory, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Coincidentally, Fox Tech and Sam Houston will both be playing Lanier the next time they take the pitch. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Voks at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Buffaloes will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
