Seton and Hampton Roads Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Seton had to settle for second. They took a 56-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators. The Conquistadors' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Hampton Roads Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nalani Carter, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Carter is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kate Lasley, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Seton's loss dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Hampton Roads Academy, their record is now 20-4.

Seton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hampton Roads Academy, they will take on Virginia Academy on Friday. Virginia Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Hampton Roads Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
