Soccer Recap: South Johnston Comes Up Short at Home Against Southern Wayne

South Johnston unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 5-1 to the Southern Wayne Saints on Monday. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly South Johnston struggled afterwards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Johnston is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against South Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
