Softball Recap: Brandon's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brandon can now relate to. They fell 5-1 to the Northwest Rankin Cougars on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Brandon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Jordan, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Brandon's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-6. As for Northwest Rankin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Northwest Rankin beat Brandon by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
