Volleyball Recap: Steele Canyon Victorious + How To Watch

Steele Canyon won the last time they faced Mount Miguel and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 win over the Matadors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Steele Canyon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-19.

Steele Canyon can attribute much of their success to Maddison Barefield, who had four digs and two aces. What's more, Barefield racked up nine assists, the most she's had over her last four contests. Chloe Stock also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Steele Canyon now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Mount Miguel, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
