Basketball Game Preview: Warsaw Tigers vs. Mishawaka Cavemen

The Warsaw Tigers will challenge the Mishawaka Cavemen at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Warsaw has 11 straight victories, Mishawaka has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

It was a proper cat-fight when Warsaw faced off against Elkhart on Saturday. Everything went Warsaw's way against Elkhart as Warsaw made off with a 65-40 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mishawaka was beaten by Goshen 81-49 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Cavemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the RedHawks are ranked 118th).

Warsaw's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Mishawaka, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
