Softball Recap: Triton Central Tigers vs. Salem Lions
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Triton Central couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salem Lions on Saturday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this contest were averaging 2.58 runs allowed.
Ashlyn Hittle made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. Madison Collins was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
