Central Catholic hadn't done well against Andover recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Golden Warriors 3-2. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Golden Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Central Catholic took Andover into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-15, 18-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Dahiamerys Brito was nothing short of spectacular: she had 18 digs and three assists. Those 18 digs gave her a new career-high.

Central Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Andover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.
