Volleyball Recap: Encina Find Success

Encina saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the River Islands Riptide. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Encina can attribute much of their success to Yoel Calleja, who had 24 assists and two blocks. That's the most assists Calleja has posted over his last six contests.

Encina's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for River Islands, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.

Coming up, Encina will face off against Antelope at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for River Islands, they will square off against Chavez at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
