Basketball Recap: Underwood Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Underwood waltzed into their game on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 58-53 W against the Brandon/Evansville Chargers. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Chargers are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Underwood's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-2. As for Brandon/Evansville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-14.
