Baseball Recap: Hot Springs Takes a Loss

Hot Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 12-3 to the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Gryphons earlier this season, when they won 11-0.

Hot Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-13-1. As for Little Rock Southwest, their win ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hot Springs will head out to take on El Dorado at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Little Rock Southwest, they will square off against Conway at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
