Omar Loya Delivers Best Effort of Season
Omar Loya produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Dexter to the win on Friday. Loya rushed for 202 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory for Dexter keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Loya and Dexter are on the road again on Friday to play Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m.

The win made it two in a row for Hatch Valley and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Russell and Hatch Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

New Mexico Military Institute was led to victory by Cohen Tomasits, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
