After having lost a blowout in their previous game against RHAM, Bacon Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Griswold Wolverines by a score of 4-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bobcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Bacon Academy's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Reina Hill, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Bacon Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Griswold, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bacon Academy will square off against Valley Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Griswold, they will head out on the road to face off against Putnam at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Clippers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.36 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of.
