St. Francis's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the IC Catholic Prep Knights, sneaking past 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Knights last Tuesday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

St. Francis pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for IC Catholic Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Francis will head out to take on Aurora Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for IC Catholic Prep, they will venture away from home to square off against DePaul College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
