Recap: North Fork Miners vs. Roaring Fork Rams
The North Fork Miners's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 62-41 defeat at the hands of Roaring Fork. North Fork has struggled against Roaring Fork recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
North Fork lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being David Audelo, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals. Audelo continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ryder Hart was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Roaring Fork's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noel Richardson, who scored 11 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Ethan Wilson, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
North Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Roaring Fork, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-8.
North Fork won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Meeker at 1:00 p.m. on January 27th. Meeker has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Roaring Fork, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedaredge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
