Softball Recap: DeKalb Tigers vs. Maryville Spoofhounds
DeKalb was the 10-5 winner over Maryville when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The DeKalb Tigers lost 15-7 to the Maryville Spoofhounds on Monday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
DeKalb's loss dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Maryville, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-20.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeKalb will venture away from home to take on King City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. King City is coming into the game with three straight defeats at home, meaning DeKalb will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Maryville, they will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Chillicothe at 5:00 p.m.
