Football Game Recap: Cooper vs. Simon Kenton

Simon Kenton won the last time they met up with Cooper, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Simon Kenton steamrollered Cooper 46-3.

Senior Caleb Farfsing, who rushed for 143 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Simon Kenton's success. Senior Jon Sergent also helped out with an impressive 104 receiving yards in the win.

The victory bumped Simon Kenton's record up to 5-0. The defeat dropped Cooper's record to 1-4.

Next week Simon Kenton take on Highlands at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. Cooper will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Dixie Heights in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
