Basketball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Tustin Tillers 75-39. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

University's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Tustin, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

University will be taking part in a tournament against Aliso Niguel at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Tustin will take on Trabuco Hills in a holiday battle at at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tustin is facing Trabuco Hills at the right time seeing as Trabuco Hills is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
