Volleyball Recap: Laton Takes a Loss

Laton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Legacy Christian Academy Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Laton was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Legacy Christian Academy work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 26-24.

Laton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Laton will face off against Kings Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will challenge Tehillah Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
