Softball Recap: Sipsey Valley Falls Short of John Carroll Catholic in the Playoffs

Sipsey Valley and John Carroll Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Sipsey Valley had to settle for second. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-23. As for John Carroll Catholic, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-19.

Sipsey Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-0 win against Wenonah on the 28th. Hopefully John Carroll Catholic paid attention to the Bears' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bears at 10:45 a.m. on Monday.
