Normal University came tearing into Tuesday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Normal University was: they took both sets by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-8.

Leading Normal University to victory were Emma Jean Lehnen and Kylie Stanton. Lehnen had ten digs and one assist, while Stanton had five digs and five assists. That's the most assists Stanton has posted since back in August.

Normal University was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive matchups.

Normal University's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Decatur Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.

Normal University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lanphier on the 2nd. As for Decatur Eisenhower, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lincoln on the 2nd.
