Football Game Preview: Fullerton Indians vs. Kennedy Fighting Irish + Official Tickets

The Fullerton Indians will head out to face off against the Kennedy Fighting Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fullerton's defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so Kennedy's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Fullerton is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Beckman, falling 34-14. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Indians, who until this game were averaging 13 points allowed.

Although Fullerton took the loss, they still got scores from Evan Tellez-Soria and Cyrus Aviles.

Kennedy hadn't beaten Valencia on the road since October 13, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Fighting Irish came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 14-7. The Fighting Irish haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Fullerton better keep an eye on Isaac Talamantes. He was instrumental in Kennedy's win, rushing for 198 yards and one score.

Kennedy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Fullerton's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Kennedy, their record is now an identical 4-2.

Fullerton took a serious blow against Kennedy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 28-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
