Meanwhile, Bolivar Central scored the most points they've had this season two weeks ago, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 71-42 defeat at the hands of Jackson Central Merry. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Cougars are ranked 129th).

Bolivar Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Chester County, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.

Chester County barely slipped by Bolivar Central when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 1-0. Will Chester County repeat their success, or does Bolivar Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
