Football Recap: Lancaster Christian Academy Drops Season-High Score on Tennessee Heat

Lancaster Christian Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-4. They lost 68-48 to Tennessee Heat. On the bright side, the 48- point performance marked the Knights' highest-scoring matchup to date.

As for Tennessee Heat, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. Their offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Levi Ashburn had a dynamite game, rushing for 184 yards and two scores on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 211 yards and four TDs on only 12 passes. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Lancaster Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Riverside Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Tennessee Heat, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 30-26 defeat against CSTHEA on the 19th.
