Indiana not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17th (when they won 12-2). They put the hurt on the Butler Golden Tornado with a sharp 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Little Indians, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Indiana, bringing their record up to 18-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Butler, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Indiana and Butler should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Little Indians (ranked seventh) will meet Hollidaysburg (ranked 68th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Butler will square off against Moon Area at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (61 vs. 229).
