Fort Zumwalt West waltzed into their match on Monday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the St. Charles Pirates. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-19, 25-15.

Fort Zumwalt West was led to victory by Audrey Lashbrook and Katelyn Deverman. Lashbrook had 12 digs and four aces, while Deverman had 12 digs and two aces. Lashbrook is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Brooklyn Pohlman also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Fort Zumwalt West's record now sits at 18-3. As for St. Charles, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-3 record this season.

Fort Zumwalt West will take on Troy-Buchanan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Charles, they will challenge Orchard Farm at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
