Football Game Preview: Warren County Screaming Devils vs. Wheeler County Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Warren County Screaming Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Wheeler County Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Warren County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They snuck past Mitchell County with a 36-30 win. That's two games straight that the Screaming Devils have won by exactly six points.

Meanwhile, Wheeler County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 55-20 victory over Manchester. Considering the Bulldogs have won six contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Wheeler County's win came from a few key players Warren County will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alvin Ricks, who rushed for 120 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Justin Culver, who rushed for 75 yards and three scores.

Warren County now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Wheeler County, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
