Basketball Recap: Covenant Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Covenant Christian walked away with it. They snuck past the Tharptown Wildcats with a 27-23 victory on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Covenant Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-18. As for Tharptown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-18.

As of now, neither Covenant Christian nor Tharptown have any future games scheduled.
