Chippewa entered their tilt with Harrison Central on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Huskies.

Chippewa's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Harrison Central, they moved to 14-6 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, Chippewa is taking a road trip to face off against St. Clairsville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Red Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Chipps' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Harrison Central, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Monroe Central at 5:00 p.m.
