Soccer Game Preview: South San Francisco vs. Aragon

The South San Francisco Warriors will square off against the Aragon Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. South San Francisco's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, South San Francisco and Menlo-Atherton finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Aragon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Burlingame on Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1. Given the Dons' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Panthers are ranked 769th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aragon's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five games. South San Francisco's draw gives them a new season record of 3-7-3.
