Baseball Game Preview: Pelahatchie Chiefs vs. Mendenhall Tigers

For the second straight game, Pelahatchie will face off against Mendenhall. Pelahatchie will venture away from home to take on Mendenhall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pelahatchie took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Mendenhall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Pelahatchie had just enough and edged out Mendenhall 4-3. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Chiefs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Ben Mosley, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Tate Hopson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Mendenhall's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Pelahatchie, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.
