While Gulfport's win against D'Iberville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Gulfport won by a run and slipped past D'Iberville 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Admirals as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Carter Carriere and Thomas Stennis dominated on the mound. Carriere struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits, while Stennis struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits (and not a single walk). That one earned run gave Carriere a new career-low.

Gulfport pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for D'Iberville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
