Baseball Game Preview: Alta Loma Braves vs. Redlands East Valley Wildcats

The Alta Loma Braves will head out to challenge the Redlands East Valley Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Alta Loma nor Redlands East Valley posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Alta Loma fell victim to Glendora and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Tartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Braves have suffered against the Tartans since March 24, 2022.

Alta Loma saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Snook, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Redlands East Valley won against La Quinta on Friday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Redlands East Valley beat Xavier Prep by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Redlands East Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Alta Loma, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
