Douglas has gone 8-2 against Reed recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Raiders at 3:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Douglas came up short against McQueen and fell 10-5. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost four in a row.

Douglas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Titus Gocke, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Reed faced Reno in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Raiders fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Raiders have suffered since March 15th.

Reed also got a good showing from Jacoby Harms, who pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the fewest earned runs Harms has allowed since back in March.

Reed now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Douglas, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Everything went Douglas' way against Reed when the teams last played on April 10th, as Douglas made off with a 9-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
