Wideout Matt Pires puts defenders on skates, run into each other multiple times.

Video: Matt Pires of Somers is too shifty
Watch this New York receiver make defenders look silly, twice!

Matt Pires might be one of the best unknown prospects in the country.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound dynamo is as shifty as they come - as is evident in the video above. The senior put a defender on skates with dizzying jukes and caused him to tumble into a teammate. Pires then pranced to the end zone to cap off the 55-yard touchdown. Got 'em, coach.

But he wasn't done. Pires made two Pearl River defenders run into each other again - in the same game. Who is this guy?

Pires has posted an astounding 529 receiving yards and 10 total touchdowns on only 15 receptions. He's also averaging 35 yards a catch and 88 receiving yards a game. The electric receiver has led Somers (Lincolndale, N.Y.) to an impressive 5-1 mark.
