Recap: Standley Lake Gators vs. West Point Dragons

On Thursday, the Standley Lake Gators fell victim to a tough 15-5 defeat at the hands of the West Point Dragons.

Brodie Geist made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. CC Pina was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.

On West Point's side, Kyle Pederson made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk).
