Basketball Recap: Waupun Takes a Loss

Waupun lost against Winneconne back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Waupun Warriors took a blow against the Winneconne Wolves, falling 55-28. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Waupun now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Winneconne, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waupun will challenge Berlin at 7:15 p.m. on February 6th. As for Winneconne, they will square off against St. Mary Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (St. Mary Catholic has won eight straight at home, while Winneconne won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
