Volleyball Recap: Dove Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dove Creek was the 3-0 winner over Center when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Vikings on Friday.

Mykaela Fury paced Dove Creek's offense, picking up five kills. Fury got some help from Kaybree Smith and her six assists. Fury was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Dove Creek has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Center, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Looking ahead, Dove Creek will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Monticello at 6:00 p.m. As for Center, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sanford on the 4th.
