Alexander Central came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Ashe County Huskies. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 on April 1st.

Alexander Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-4. As for Ashe County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4-1.
