After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calumet Christian, Christian Liberty were happy to have found some success on Friday. They put the hurt on Trinity Oaks Christian Academy with a sharp 55-33 victory.
Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Sean M and Josh W. M scored 13 points along with 3 steals, while W scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. W scored a full 39.4% of Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win got Christian Liberty back to even at 1-1. As for Trinity Oaks Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Liberty will face off against Hiawatha at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hiawatha is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Trinity Oaks Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Alden-Hebron at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
